Suggested Goals - Functions
* Continued development of
HCEDC website with marketing orientation.
* Develop targeted web pages to accommodate
specific website linkages. For example: Driving Trips from Austin is an available link in
the Travel Texas Website. Therefore, pages should be created related to that linkage for
driving trips to Marble Falls, Burnet, Kingsland, Llano, etc.
* Continued maintenance of those pages.
* Expand website content to include more detailed
information about events, attractions, accommodations, dining, business and industrial
parks, mixed use developments, housing opportunities, employment opportunities, etc.
* Promote E-commerce as a tool for business
expansion.
* Assist constituent organizations with the
development and expansion of their technology needs, website development and promotion,
infrastructure development and support for local businesses.
* Provide information to businesses about
developing web pages and links.
