Suggested Goals - Functions

* Establish a banking relation.

* File necessary application for recognition as a 501(c)(3) organization.

* Explore the development of corporate sponsorships pursuant to the bylaws.

* Explore other sources for funding the EDC's operations.

* Establish a budget for the EDC based on committee proposals and an assessment of general operating requirements.

* Explore the possibility of setting up a 4a/4b corporation, economic development districts, etc.

Identify sources of venture capital and financing for new business development, business expansion and business relocations.
